Frequently Asked Questions

Are your pilots licensed?

All of our pilots are FAA-certified and hold their Part 107 license.

Can you do just photography if I do not need videos?

Yes. We offer both photography and videography services separately to fit the project’s needs.

What can I do to get a quote for a project?

Please visit the contact page and send us a message. We typically respond within 24 hours.

What areas do you serve?

We provide services all over central and south Texas. Some special projects take us all over the state.

Do I need to be present for the project?

Typically no. Our intake process is thorough and it allows us to plan the project with you - this includes preferences and desired outcomes in full detail. If you do want to be present, we do offer services so you can observe what is being captured in real time, on-site.

I have been told some areas are restricted for flying drones, is that true?

Yes. Examples of regulated airspace are military facilities, major airports, regional airports; these all create overlapping airspace restrictions. Additionally, TFRs are usually in place for stadiums and arenas during events.

We work closely with the pertinent authorities and law enforcement agencies to get the necessary waivers and permits needed for a project if it were to be necessary.

For projects that need waivers and/or special permits we need substantial notice of the project as the relevant authorities can sometimes take months to provide approval.

How complex of a project can you take on?

We can take on a variety of projects with a wide range of complexity. We have done simple residential real estate listing photography, complex construction progress updates and time-lapses, and have even chased race cars through a racetrack.

What is your pricing?

We offer the most competitive pricing in the area. Simple real estate listings can be as low as $150 and complex multi-day projects can range in the thousands. It really depends on the project’s needs and budget.

While some companies charge a minimum number of hours for a project, we do not. We bill in half-hour increments to fit your project’s actual needs, not ours.
